Chesapeake jury convicts man in domestic assault against daughter

CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A jury in Chesapeake convicted a man Wednesday, Sept. 24 on charges stemming from domestic assault against his daughter nearly one year ago.

Barry Chandler, of Chesapeake, has been convicted of the felony of assault and battery of a family member and an additional charge of misdemeanor assault and battery.
