NORFOLK, Va. — In a ceremony steeped in Navy tradition and pride, five outstanding Sailors from Naval Support Activity (NSA) Hampton Roads were advanced to the pay grade of chief petty officer on Sept. 16. The ceremony marked a powerful transition for Chief Boatswain’s Mate Nicholas Morgan, Chief Machinery Repairman Tiffany Trombley, Chief Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuels) Anjessica Gabriel, Chief Aviation Boatswain’s Mate (Fuels) Emmett Clarkson, and Chief Operations Specialist Craig Orris, as they officially joined the ranks of the U.S. Navy’s chief’s mess.
Held aboard NSA Hampton Roads, the ceremony brought together Sailors, families, and leadership in celebration of a milestone that signifies more than just advancement — it signifies trust, leadership, and the weight of legacy.
