Norfolk entrepreneurs can launch businesses in 8 weeks through free NSU program

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – Norfolk State University’s Innovation Center (NSUIC) and Selden Market are partnering to turn entrepreneurs’ ideas into online businesses with a free eight-week program.

The program, which will be held every Monday from Oct. 27 – Dec. 15, will help participants build real websites, launch marketing campaigns and make actual sales, while providing them with the necessary tools and mentorship to succeed.

It will be held at the NSU Innovation Center (NSUIC), 520 E. Main Street in Downtown Norfolk. The first week will focus on “The One-Liner Challenge,” where those enrolled will distill their entire business concept into a single powerful sentence.
