2nd man arrested after deadly mass shooting during Nicetown birthday party

A man was arrested in Virginia after being wanted by police for three months after a deadly mass shooting at a birthday party in Philadelphia, according to the U.S. Marshals Service.

Lawrence Coleman, 25, was arrested for his alleged involvement in a shooting that happened in Philadelphia’s Nicetown neighborhood on Saturday, July 26, 2025, that left two men dead and injured a woman and her seven-year-old daughter.

The ordeal began on Saturday, July 26, shortly before 8:30 p.m. along the 1900 block of West Hunting Park Avenue.
