NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) – Amtrak announced Friday that service between Richmond and Newport News will be suspended through Monday, Nov. 3.
The train line previously announced on Oct. 27 that the lines would be suspended through Nov. 1.
Between Oct. 1 2023 – Sept. 30 2024, 172,434 passengers got either on or off at Newport News and Williamsburg Amtrak stations. Those numbers exceed those who arrived and departed from Newport News Williamsburg’s Airports numbers during that same timeframe…
