NORFOLK, Va. (WKRC) – The couple brought their daughter to a children’s hospital on May 4, 2024, claiming she had fallen from her stroller. However, hospital staff discovered signs of abuse, including burns, cuts and bruises, prompting a police investigation.
Z’Ibreyea Shantel Parker, 22, and Hilary Darnell Johnson II, 24, have been sentenced following their guilty pleas in connection with the death of their 9-day-old daughter, Iijayah, according to the Office of the Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney press release.
