NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY)– A woman has died following an overnight shooting in Newport News.
According to police, officers were called to the Brennan Pointe Apartments, located in the 3100 block of Warwick Boulevard, at 1:35 a.m. for the report of a shooting. When officers arrived on scene, they found a woman inside a residence suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police say this incident appears to be domestic…
