NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — Activists from across the 757 are preparing for a remembrance ceremony Saturday at the Richard A. Tucker Memorial Library, where six families will gather to honor seven loved ones killed by violent crime.
The ceremony will recognize the lives of Reuben and Brenton Hargraves, Lonnie Harvey, De’Quan Studwell, Maurice Gatewood, Ali Muhammad and Kendrick Scoggins. Families say they hope the event not only preserves their memories, but also pushes the community toward solutions.
