CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – Various drug paraphernalia, 30 grams of cocaine, nearly two grams of crack cocaine, and $2,353 were found after a traffic stop involving a vehicle with inactive license plates Oct. 1, according to Chesapeake Police.
The traffic stop occurred in the 2600 block of S. Military Hwy, where the officer requested a K-9 due to observed behavior. The K-9 alerted the officer to the presence of drugs, where they found two loaded 9mm handguns, digital scales with suspected cocaine residue, packaging materials, cash, and multiple quantities of cocaine and crack cocaine.
The driver was taken into custody and the house was subsequently searched. During the search officers located an additional 30 grams of cocaine, 1.95 grams of crack cocaine, and $2,353 in cash. The vehicle was towed from the scene, and all evidence was secured for processing…
