CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) – A man was taken into custody Monday night after a reported domestic assault and carjacking against his ex-fiancé in the 2500 block of Blue Berry Bank, according to Chesapeake Police.
The incident happened around 8:53 p.m. in the area of Providence Road and Holly Point Boulevard, in which police investigation revealed the man had assaulted his ex-fiancé during an argument while she was driving.
The man then took her vehicle without permission and fled the scene…
