SMITHFIELD, Va. (WAVY) — A Carrollton man has turned himself in to police Sunday after allegedly striking a pedestrian in Smithfield following a dispute.
According to the Smithfield Police Department, it happened at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday in a shopping center parking lot, located in the 1200 block of Benns Church Boulevard.
When officers arrived, they discovered an 18-year-old man had been struck by a vehicle after a dispute with the driver. He sustained significant injuries to his leg and was taken to a local hospital, where he remains in stable condition and is receiving ongoing treatment…
