NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man faces malicous wounding and other charges in connection to a shooting early Sunday morning on Waterside Drive near the Waterside District, Norfolk Police said.

Lorne S. Bailey, 23, of Hampton has been charged with malicious wounding, four counts of attempted malicious wounding, the use of a firearm in the commission of a felony, shooting in the commission of a felony, discharging a firearm in public and vandalism after another man was shot around 2:10 a.m. Sunday in the 300 block of Waterside Drive.
When officers arrived, they found a 26-year-old man suffering from a life-threatening gunshot wound, Norfolk Police said. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Bailey was taken into custody in Hampton Wednesday by Norfolk Police, with help from Hampton Police. He will be held in the Norfolk City Jail without bond, police said…
