Police arrest man in connection with Truist Bank robbery

NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY) — Newport News Police have arrested a man in connection with an October robbery at a Truist Bank on Denbigh Boulevard.

Police said Curtis Adam Robertson, 38, of Newport News, was charged following an investigation into the Oct. 29 robbery at the bank in the 300 block of Denbigh Boulevard.

Robertson faces multiple charges, including robbery, entering a bank armed with intent to commit larceny, possession of firearm by convicted felon, use of firearm in the commission of a felony, possession of burglary tools and pertit larceny.

According to police, Robertson was served the warrants Dec. 12 at the Newport News Jail, where he was already being held on charges related to another incident.
