Virginia Beach police arrest man on 28 felony credit card fraud warrants

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Virginia Beach police arrested Juan Paballo Galvis-Munoz, 24, last week on 28 felony warrants related to credit card fraud.

Officers with the Virginia Beach Police Department’s Third Precinct were investigating a vehicle around 10 p.m. Dec. 27 after it triggered alerts from Flock Safety cameras, indicating the registered owner was wanted on multiple felony warrants.

Galvis-Munoz was taken into custody and served with the warrants following the investigation, police said.

“Flock technology generated the critical lead in this case,” Police Chief Paul W. Neudigate said in a statement. “It was the officer’s persistence and expert investigative work that brought this case to a successful conclusion.”…
