It’s been busy few days of tight end visits for East Carolina, and the Pirates are far from finished. Dawson Johnson, a transfer from Old Dominion at the position, is scheduled to visit East Carolina in the coming days (Jan. 5-6), his representatives at Nilson Sports tell Hoist The Colours and 247Sports.
Johnson, listed at 6-3, 230 pounds, spent his freshman season at Florida before transferring to Old Dominion. He started two games and played in all 13 contests as a redshirt freshman, logging 346 snaps on offense with 10 catches for 99 yards and a touchdown.
