NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The expression is widely used, but a shot fired Wednesday in Minneapolis was heard around the world, including in Hampton Roads, and Friday, protesters honored the life of Renee Good, the Old Dominion University graduate killed by an ICE agent.

A memorial in Good’s honor now stands in downtown Norfolk, where dozens gathered Friday, enraged that her life was cut short at the hands of ICE.
Chants rang out Friday evening in front of the Norfolk Federal Building. Sign after sign revealed the reason people were gathering.
