NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — Hundreds of anti-ICE protests are taking place nationwide following Wednesday’s fatal shooting of Renee Nicole Good in Minneapolis by an ICE agent.
Two of those protests happened right here in Hampton Roads on Saturday. Nearly 400 demonstrators crowded the intersection of Oyster Point Road and Jefferson Avenue in Newport News.
