CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Former Chesapeake Sheriffs Jim O’Sullivan and Dave Rosado have decided to keep control of the nonprofit Children Today, Leaders Tomorrow and will not transfer any related programs, money, or equipment to the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Office (CSO), according to CSO.
The Sheriff’s Office says the decision includes charitable assets such as tents and chairs, along with community programs historically tied to the nonprofit, including Dancing with the Athletes, Football Camp, and Oyster South.
CSO leadership said Sheriff Chadwick and his team wanted the programs to remain connected to the Sheriff’s Office to ensure continuity and avoid disruption in the community. However, that transition will not happen…
