NEWPORT NEWS, Va. — In Newport News, service members rolled up their sleeves Monday morning at the Virginia Peninsula Foodbank in Newport News in honor of the 10th Annual MLK Day of Service.
“So, this event here will help tremendously to restock our shelves and get them out to the community as quickly as possible,” said Foodbank founder and President Bob Latvis.
