Neighbors told to lock their doors while Virginia Beach police investigated stabbing

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Neighbors told 13News Now they were instructed to lock their doors for upwards of 20 minutes, while Virginia Beach Police investigated a stabbing on Prince Arthur Court.

Police said dispatch received a call reporting a stabbing at about 8:54 a.m. By the time paramedics arrived, they found one person suffering from stab wounds inside an apartment unit. Their current condition is unknown.

Neighbors said they watched as more than a dozen police officers descended into the Virginia Beach neighborhood and barricaded themselves behind a parked truck…
