VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — A mother and her son were injured following a collision with a police vehicle on Witchduck Road, according to the Virginia Beach Police Department.
On Jan. 12, an officer was responding to a priority 2 call for service at approximately 7:45 p.m. Police said the officer was traveling eastbound on Virginia Beach Boulevard and approached a red traffic signal at the intersection of Witchduck Road. The officer entered the intersection and collided with a white Lexus traveling northbound.
The driver of the Lexus reported a minor injury and EMS responded to the scene to conduct an assessment. The driver and her son were taken to a local hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening…
