PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Dominion Energy’s Coastal Virginia Offshore Wind project reached another milestone Wednesday with the installation of the first large turbine tower.
Sen. Tim Kaine, (D-Va.) shared the news following a tour of the Portsmouth Marine Terminal, where the massive components of the $11.2 billion endeavor are being staged before being hauled at least 27 miles off the coast of Virginia Beach.
