NEWPORT NEWS, Va. (WAVY)– Police in Newport News are seeking the assistance of the public in identifying a fraud suspect.
According to police, the suspect was involved multiple reports of credit card fraud that occurred on January 1. The victim lost their credit cards at the Food Lion on Pilot House Drive. The cards were recovered by an unknown subject and later used at several nearby locations.
Police say fraudulent transactions occurred at Food Lion, a neighboring vape shop, Family Dollar, a cell phone repair store , Popeyes, and an ABC store.
