CHESAPEAKE, Va. — A man was killed Friday afternoon in a single-vehicle crash on Hawksley Drive in Chesapeake, police said.
Officers responded around 1:08 p.m. to the 4000 block of Hawksley Drive, which is in the Western Branch section of the city. Police found that a vehicle had left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, who was the only person inside the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene.
