NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A civilian vessel collided with a port security barrier at Naval Station Norfolk after experiencing a mechanical steering failure, the U.S. Navy confirmed.
The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Jan. 29, near Pier 2.
