NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The state Department of Health reported 3,400 Virginians visited the emergency department suffering from slips and falls due to the snow and icy conditions last weekend. Folks at Sentara Leigh Hospital say they are prepared to see more of those this weekend.
“Also some musculoskeletal pain, back injuries, different things where you’re doing activities outside that maybe you’re not accustomed to,” said Sentara Leigh Emergency Department Manager Jason Morgan.
