NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk police responded to a shooting at a Church’s Chicken on Princess Road on Saturday, where one man was killed, and a woman was hurt. Investigators later arrested and charged Larry Jackson with second-degree murder. Jackson is currently being held in jail without bond for the shooting. Norfolk Commonwealth’s Attorney Ramin Fatehi said “old-fashioned police work,” and technology helped police make the arrest.
Another fatal shooting took place at 3 a.m. that same day. No suspect has been charged in association with the killing, but Fatehi said they are close.
