SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY)– Crews in Suffolk responded to a fire Tuesday night.
According to officials, crews were called to the 2700 block of Wilroy Loop just before 8 p.m. for the report of a fire in a large shed. When firefighters arrived, they found a large unoccupied outbuilding, adjacent to the main residence, heavily involved in fire.
Crews quickly put water on the fire and marked it under control at 8:24 p.m. The shed sustained heavy damage due to the fire. The primary residence was not affected.
No firefighters were injured.
