Indoor adventure park planned for abandoned K-Mart near Norfolk airport

NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — New life may soon come to a desolate shopping center near Norfolk International Airport.

Near the end of the month, Norfolk City Council will consider rezoning the nearly 19-acre site of the former Super K-Mart in Norview to allow for the development of an indoor trampoline and arcade attraction.

Lululand Adventure Park is billed to be “Norfolk’s New Destination for Family Fun and Community Connection.” It’ll open up along with a tenant geared toward selling restaurant equipment to businesses that serve Asian cuisine, according to planning documents. Fried chicken, Hawaiian and Philly cheese steak-oriented restaurants are also slated to round out the space…
