PORTSMOUTH, Va. (WAVY) — Portsmouth Police are searching for a suspect who robbed a business in the 5700 block of Portsmouth Boulevard Friday morning. Police responded to the robbery in Portsmouth around 6:23 a.m.
An employee told police a suspect approached the counter, laid a firearm on it, and demanded cash from the drawer. After receiving the money, the suspect fled on foot.
The incident was captured on the store’s surveillance system, according to police.
