CHESAPEAKE, Va. — Chesapeake police are investigating a Sunday afternoon shooting that left a woman injured.
Officers responded to the area of Battlefield Boulevard and Volvo Parkway around 2:20 p.m. due to a report of an injured person. They found a woman in a yellow Jeep who had suffered injuries that appear to be non-life-threatening.
Preliminary investigation indicated that a vehicle occupied by two men approached the Jeep at an unknown location and fired into the vehicle. The Jeep later came to a stop near Battlefield and Volvo. The woman was taken to a hospital for treatment…
