Student struck by car on Sleepy Hole Road in Suffolk

SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A Nansemond River High School student was struck by a vehicle while crossing Sleepy Hole Road near the school campus Thursday morning, school officials confirmed.

Emergency personnel responded to the scene and transported the student for further medical evaluation and care, according to a letter Assistant Principal Tina Paul sent to the Nansemond River High School community.
