BARCO – Representatives from several northeastern North Carolina Law enforcement agencies, the State Bureau of Investigation, and the area District Attorney came together Feb. 3 at the Currituck County Sheriff’s Office in Barco for a joint announcement that a new task force has been formed.
On hand for the announcement were Currituck County Sheriff Matthew W. Beickert, Dare County Sheriff Doug Doughtie, Gates County Sheriff A.
