One of the men involved in the deadly shooting of a 20-year-old man in Virginia Beach was sentenced to 40 years in prison, according to the Virginia Beach Commonwealth’s Attorney office.
Javon Pollard, 21, was sentenced to 78 years in prison with 38 years suspended for first degree murder, attempted robbery, conspiracy, two counts of use of a firearm and hit and run — personal injury, according to the CAO.
