Two hospitalized, six displaced after mobile home fire at the Colony Mobile Home Park in Virginia Beach

VIRGINA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) — Two people have been hospitalized, and six have been displaced, after a mobile home fire at the Colony Mobile Home Park in Virginia Beach Saturday night, according to the Virginia Beach Fire Department.

On Feb. 28 at around 8: 50 p.m., the department and EMS units were dispatched to a reported residential structure fire at the Colony Mobile Home Park. When crews arrived at around 8:54 p.m., they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from a mobile home. Crews quickly had water on the fire at 8:56 p.m, marking it under control by 9:11 p.m. and marking it out by 9:22 p.m.

Due to the fire, three adults and three kids were displaced due to the fire. After being treated by EMS at the scene, two adults were transported to local hospitals. Their conditions are currently unknown. There were no further injuries to residents, firefighters or pets.
