VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — Dozens of volunteers spent Sunday morning working to protect one of Virginia Beach’s shoreline treasures.
Eighty members of ASEZ WAO, Save the Earth from A to Z, We Are One, installed 900 feet of sand fencing at Crab Creek by the Lynnhaven Boat Ramp. The global group of young adult worker volunteers says the project is part of its Marine Ecosystem Protection initiative, focused on restoring and preserving coastal environments.
