HAMPTON, Va. (WAVY) — A woman was arrested after a man was struck by a firearm during an altercation Sunday afternoon on Kecoughtan Road, according to Hampton Police.
Hampton Public Safety Communications received a report from Hampton Division of Fire and Rescue’s Station 1 at approximately 1:30 p.m. in reference to a walk-in gunshot victim suffering from a non-life-threatening injury.
Upon arrival, officers made contact with the victim and the suspect. The suspect was detained without incident while the victim was taken to a local hospital for further treatment. Officers additionally recovered a firearm and suspected narcotics from the scene…
