CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — A pedestrian was fatally struck by a vehicle Monday morning in Chesapeake, according to police.
A call came in around 5:50 a.m. in reference to a crash at the intersection of South George Washington Highway and Sawyers Arch. This is near the Sawyers Mill area.
When officers arrived, they found an injured man who had been struck by a vehicle. The victim was taken to a local hospital, where he eventually died from his injuries…
