ODU students return to campus to retrieve belongings after deadly shooting

NORFOLK, Va. — Students at Old Dominion University returned to campus Saturday for the first time since Thursday’s deadly shooting, with many stopping by to retrieve belongings left behind in the building where the violence unfolded.

The university opened the Webb Center this weekend for students and faculty to pick up items that had been left inside Constant Hall, home to the Strome College of Business.

While some people came to collect their things, others were packing up and leaving campus as spring break began…
