SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) – A man was flown to a trauma hospital with life-threatening injuries Thursday morning after a technical rescue operation on a factory roof in Suffolk.
According to fire officials, emergency crews used specialized equipment to lower the man from the building in the 200 block of Culloden Street.
Suffolk Fire & Rescue was dispatched to the scene at 8:47 a.m. and arrived two minutes later to find the man on the roof with significant injuries. The high elevation and the severity of the man’s condition required a specialized technical rescue response to safely remove him from the structure…
