VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (WAVY) – On Saturday afternoon, hundreds filled the streets surrounding Virginia Beach Town Center for another round of No Kings Protests. The protest was just one of thousands that are taking place across the country this weekend.
This weekend has seen multiple protests in Hampton Roads cities, including Chesapeake, Norfolk and Virginia Beach. Notable speakers in Norfolk included Congressman Bobby Scott, and Commonwealth’s attorney Ramin Fatehi.

Meanwhile in Chesapeake, Virginia Delegate Cliff Hayes spoke to 10 On Your Side about why he believes it’s important for residents to make their voices heard.
“We’re out here today to level the playing field and to respond to these attacks that are going on at the federal level,” said Delegate Hayes, “you need to make sure that you get out and be a part of saving this democracy that we have.”…
