SUFFOLK, Va. — Five people are displaced after a fire in the 5600 block of Person Street in Suffolk on Sunday afternoon.
The house fire was reported at 3:49 p.m. Firefighters arrived to find fire showing from the rear of the home. The fire was mostly contained to the outside of the home but did extend into the attack. The fire caused heavy damage outside the home and moderate smoke damage inside.
All of the occupants had escaped the home before firefighters arrived. One adult and four children are displaced, and there were no injuries…
