CHESAPEAKE, Va. (WAVY) — Two people have been displaced after a fire on Camelot Boulevard in Chesapeake Saturday morning, according to the Chesapeake Fire Department.
At 4:09 a.m. on April 4, the department was dispatched to the 2800 block of Camelot Boulevard after receiving multiple calls from residents driving by the house about it being on fire. Chesapeake Engine 9 arrived to the scene and saw a two-story house with flames showing from the front of the house.
Firefighters used hose lines to extinguish the fire and realized it spread to the house’s attic. Crews then went inside the house, bringing the fire under control by 4:20 a.m. The house’s occupants safely evacuated before crews arrived to the scene.
