NORFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — A man was injured after an accidental shooting on Sewells Point Road in Norfolk Sunday morning, according to the Norfolk Police Department.
On April 12 at around 12:05 a.m., officers responded to a home in the 3000 block of Sewells Point Road for a reported shooting victim. The gunshot wound was found to be accidental and self-inflicted. The man was transported to Sentara Norfolk General Hospital with a non-life-threatening injury.
