PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Six adults and multiple animals have been displaced from a home in Portsmouth after a Sunday afternoon fire.
The fire in the 3400 block of Channel Avenue was reported just after 2 p.m. The house is off West Norfolk Road near Route 164.
First responders found all of the occupants, including three dogs and multiple cats, had escaped the home by the time they arrived. The fire was coming out of windows and spreading throughout the home and attic space…
