PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth firefighters responded to a brush fire on I-264 westbound on Tuesday, closing the interstate during rush hour.
The call came in around 5 p.m., according to Portsmouth Fire, Rescue and Emergency Services. Companies arrived on scene to find a brush fire that extended from the Greenwood Drive overpass past the Greenwood Drive exit.
