PORTSMOUTH, Va. — Portsmouth police arrested a 64-year-old man on Thursday following a narcotics investigation that led to the seizure of drugs, firearms, and cash.
According to police, detectives obtained search warrants for Walter Freeman Junior’s Oakleaf Place residence, person, and vehicle after receiving community tips and observing suspected drug activity.
During the search, investigators said they recovered about six ounces of crack cocaine and one ounce of fentanyl. Police said the fentanyl had been packaged into 159 individual capsules. Detectives also seized two firearms, ammunition, cash, and materials used to weigh and package narcotics…
