VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A proposed U.S. missile defense system known as the “Golden Dome” is moving beyond theory and into active development, according to top Department of Defense leaders.
Officials say the system is designed to detect and stop some of the most advanced aerial threats before they ever reach U.S. soil.
