POQUOSON, Va. (WAVY)– A Poquoson police officer has been placed on leave following his recent arrest.
Officer Michael DiSanto was arraigned Monday, May 4, on criminal charges. He faces two counts of assault and battery, two counts of brandishing a firearm, and one count of reckless handling of a firearm.
The charges against DiSanto stem from an incident that occurred on April 19. He was arrested on May 1, according to court records.
