SUFFOLK, Va. (WAVY) — The Suffolk Police Department is requesting information from the public Wednesday to solve a cold case from 1993, according to a post from the department on Facebook.
On May 6, 1993 at around 11:12 a.m., Suffolk Police and EMS responded to a residence on Skeet Road in reference to an unresponsive man with a gunshot wound. William Ward Sr., 65, was declared dead at the scene. Ward was shot in the stomach through a window with a shotgun.
